Polly Park Capital (“Polly Park”) is an entrepreneurial New York-based real estate merchant bank and development platform. Polly Park’s clientele, capital base, and partners span high-net-worth individuals, institutional investors, and experienced operators. The firm operates as a holding company with three distinctive and complementary businesses. This includes Polly Park Advisors, which provides real estate capital markets, banking, and investment advisory services, Polly Park Development, which sponsors opportunistic, development-oriented projects, and Polly Park Realty, which is a Brokerage Company engaging in various leasing and management activities for third-parties and its own account. Since inception, through these various businesses, Polly Park has executed nearly $1.65B of transactions.
About the Founder
Abraham J. Cooper is the Founder & Managing Member of Polly Park Capital (“Polly Park”) and Affiliates.
Mr. Cooper possesses over a decade of diverse commercial real estate transaction experience, spanning capital markets, investment banking, development, and institutional brokerage, having operated alongside the highest-levels of two leading, global organizations. Prior to forming Polly Park in January 2020, Mr. Cooper served as a Director at Jones Lang LaSalle (NYSE: JLL) within the firm’s Capital Markets Business. While there, he worked in-tandem with the Vice Chairman and Head of New York Capital Markets, raising $1B of project-specific and portfolio-level debt and equity capital for institutional and entrepreneurial investors, developers, and operators spanning all asset formats. Earlier in his tenure, he garnered significant commercial brokerage experience working within JLL’s top producing team globally, representing the real estate interests of Manhattan-based hedge fund and private equity Founders, Principals & CEOs culminating over 1MM RSF of transactions.
Mr. Cooper began his career in commercial real estate at CBRE Group (NYSE: CBG), within the firm’s Executive Office. There, he worked alongside its Capital Markets Executive Management Team, including its Global President, on large-scale corporate business development and client coverage, as well operational and strategic management initiatives.
Mr. Cooper earned his Bachelors of Business Administration Degree in Finance from The George Washington University in Washington, DC. He is deeply involved in its Center for Real Estate and Urban Analysis as a Member of the Young Leadership Advisory Board. Mr. Cooper is also highly active within The Jewish Museum of Manhattan as a Member of the Young Patron’s Advisory Council.
